Fareham Academy

Fareham Academy is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Fareham, Hampshire, England.
The school was originally known as St. Annes school prior to becoming Neville Lovett Community School, named after the first Bishop of Portsmouth, Neville Lovett. It was the first school in Hampshire designated as a Specialist Maths and Computing College in September 2003. The school converted to academy status on 1 September 2013, and was renamed Fareham Academy.
In recent years, the school GCSE results have improved significantly and has been the subject of newspaper articles and BBC South Today news reports.
In August 2014, Fareham Academy celebrated its best GCSE results ever, with 70% A
*–C including English and Maths.
== Sixth Form ==
Fareham Academy has plans to open a sixth form in September 2016, however is still awaiting permission from the Education Funding Agency. No educational establishment in Fareham offers A-levels, meaning that students studying A-Levels have to travel to surrounding areas such as Gosport, Winchester, Portsmouth and Eastleigh.
